Studio Terms

These Studio Terms apply to all bookings and use of Northern Rooms Manchester Studios facilities. By confirming a session, you agree to follow the terms below.

1. Booking and Payment

Bookings are accepted once confirmed by email or message. Payments are due as stated in your booking confirmation. Rates include basic use of studio equipment and supervision during agreed hours. Prices may change with notice, but confirmed bookings remain at the agreed rate.

2. Cancellations

If you need to cancel, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a partial fee to cover lost time. Re-scheduling is available subject to room availability.

3. Studio Use

Users must treat all equipment and property with care. No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the premises. Only beverages with lids are permitted in live rooms. We reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement costs caused by misuse.

4. Health and Safety

All users must follow safety guidance provided by staff. Fire exits must remain clear at all times. Any accidents or hazards must be reported immediately to the studio manager. Our facilities comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

5. Personal Property

We cannot accept liability for personal belongings left in the studio or adjacent spaces. Please ensure valuables and instruments are secured. Temporary storage can be arranged by prior agreement.

6. Recording Rights

All creative material recorded during sessions belongs to the artist or booking client. We do not claim ownership or usage rights over your recordings unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Conduct

Please maintain professional and respectful behaviour toward staff and other clients. Excessive volume, aggressive conduct, or disregard for staff instructions may lead to termination of the session without refund.

8. Data Protection

Personal data related to your booking is processed under the Privacy Notice and the UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018.

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as power outages, severe weather, or local restrictions.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be handled by courts located in Manchester.
